Ensyst History

Ensyst was established in August 2001 with just 3 staff providing help desk support to 2 customers. Our constant focus on customer satisfaction led to rapid growth through word of mouth and our staff and customer numbers grew rapidly in the early years.

Also in 2001 Ensyst was admitted into the Microsoft partner program as a Microsoft Gold partner and began a strong partnership with Microsoft focusing heavily on Microsoft technologies and solutions.

In 2005 Ensyst acquired the business of Synergy IT, another help desk provider based in Sydney and took a number of staff and existing customers.

By 2006 the focus on designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft solutions was paying off with Ensyst named Microsoft Australia Partner of the Year at the annual Australian Partner Conference.

In 2007 Ensyst launched its unified communications and collaboration practice with a focus on the delivery of Office Communications Server and SharePoint to bring market leading collaboration solutions to our customers.

During 2007 and 2008 Ensyst made a significant investment in the help desk system and implemented an ITIL framework aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction.

In 2008 Ensyst is rewarded by Microsoft for excellence in the delivery of Microsoft Unified Communications solutions being named the Australian Unified Communications Partner of the Year.

In 2009 Ensyst acquired the business of NT Solutions who were a Microsoft systems integrator and IT help desk provider and merged all the staff and customers under the Ensyst brand.

Also in 2009 Ensyst is named as a 3 time winner at the Microsoft Australia Partner of the Year Awards taking out the categories of SharePoint Search, Education Sector and Compete Partner of the Year.

Ensyst was also recognised by Microsoft at a global level being named the 2009 Worldwide Partner of the Year for Mobility solutions.

By 2010 Ensyst was one of the leading providers of the Microsoft Productivity platform and was again recognised at a global level by Microsoft being named as a finalist in the 2010 Worldwide Partner of the Year for Unified Communications.

With changes to the Microsoft partner network in 2010, Ensyst was the first Australian partner to achieve Gold Competency certification in Unified Communications. We also achieved the Gold Competency certification in Desktop, Portals & Collaboration and Systems Management.

In 2011 Ensyst was once again recognised at a global level by Microsoft being named both as Australian Country Partner of the Year and also as Global Voice Partner of the Year for Asia Pacific.

In 2012 Ensyst was again recognised by Microsoft at the Partner of the Year Awards, making finalists in 4 categories, Private Cloud, Communications, Productivity and Online Services and being awarded the win in Online Services partner of the year for innovation in the delivery of cloud solutions to our customers.
