This financial management company approached the market in 2013 for a Managed Services provider to support business growth in its Australian and overseas operations. The vision was to transform the IT operations to provide a flexible, resilient platform.
Ensyst was selected due to its wide-ranging experience and capabilities including implementation and management of the Microsoft Platform and Unified Communications solutions.
To support the client’s ongoing drive to stay ahead of the competition, Ensyst worked on an IT transformation strategy to re-align the way technology was delivered to staff. A number of projects have been delivered to drive mobility and provide ease-of-access to the highly dispersed workforce.
As part of an office relocation in Sydney, the client recognised a need to transform the telephony environment which provided only basic dial tone functionality, to meet the mobility requirements of staff including those in overseas locations.
Ensyst proposed a Microsoft Unified Communications platform leveraging Lync 2013. This solution provided mobility options for all Sydney staff, enabling them to make and receive phone calls and access a range of intuitive and flexible collaboration tools wherever they traveled in the world.
To enhance internal and external collaboration with staff, partners and customers, the Lync solution enabled users to make and receive peer-to-peer video calls with other Hastings staff and with externally federated companies.
Microsoft Lync 2013 now provides staff with the tools they need to seamlessly communicate and collaborate anytime, anywhere on any device. As a result of productivity gains achieved, the client is now planning to extend the platform to support other office locations.
