Lion is one of Australasia’s largest food and beverage companies, employing more than 7,000 people across Australia and New Zealand.

Lion was seeking to take advantage of investments in Office 365 by leveraging SharePoint Online to deliver the Lion External Relations (LER) knowledge base, providing information in the forms of legal advice, policy frameworks, templates and guidelines to staff when they need to engage with external parties.


Ensyst was engaged to provide consultancy around the most efficient way to organise stakeholder guidance and governance information. E nsyst worked closely with Lion to develop an Information Architecture, taxonomy and user experience that would enable users across the business to easily locate relevant information managed within SharePoint Online.

The LER Knowledge Portal helps support decision-making by internal and external users, linking them quickly and easily with the most up to date and relevant information.  The Knowledge Portal provides multiple ways for users to locate information from rich enterprise search through to suggested documents, Top 10 and Most Popular documents as well as search via document categories and tags.
