This large NSW Government agency made a strategic decision to deploy Microsoft Lync as their Unified Communications platform and has now completed the largest deployment of Microsoft Lync in NSW Government, over 5,000 users.

Solution

Ensyst has been the agency’s Microsoft Unified Communication partner for more than 3 years, providing professional services in remediation and upgrading of the platform, then ongoing management to ensure it performs to the levels required to maintain business operation.

Ensyst continues to assist in scaling the Lync environment to additional sites – replacing aging PBXs as they reach end-of-life, modernising the platform and supporting the move to a centralised SIP environment.

In 2015, the client contracted Ensyst to continue delivering the Lync service with a fully featured Lync solution delivered ‘As a Service’.  Integrated with the agency’s existing service desk, support teams and processes, Ensyst ensures the performance and availability of Lync services to all users, and delivers a comprehensive, scalable solution with a simple monthly charge.
