Founded more than 100 years ago, this is a leading school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. Located in the suburbs of Sydney, the school enrols more than 800 students.
The College was using Microsoft Exchange as its core on-premises messaging platform, but wanted to move to Microsoft Office 365 for all future collaboration requirements.
Some of the main drivers were to reduce on-premises hardware and software requirements, reduce administration and support, provide staff with flexible access to their emails, and to provide a cost effective business continuity and disaster recovery solution for the messaging environment.
Solution
The College partnered with Ensyst in managing the end-to-end Office 365 migration process.
Ensyst’ solution offered a simple, low maintenance same sign-in solution for staff email without the need for a sizable investment in on-site infrastructure.
Office 365 was seamlessly integrated into the existing College user account provisioning process which includes Microsoft Identity Manager and an education specific software platform.
